An online devotional for writers
This is the meaning of the parable: The seed is God’s word. (Luke 8:11, NLT)
A feature article is different from a news article. Both report on a topic, person, or event. But a news story sticks to the facts.
A feature article goes further. It offers analysis about the subject. And here’s a twist: two or even three (or more) writers can put together a feature article about the same topic, but each can highlight a different facet.
Case in point: Matthew, Mark, and Luke. Each one wrote a feature article on seed production in different types of soil. Each offers analysis … but their analyses differ.
Same subject. Different analysis, each with a unique angle.
When you write a feature article, highlight one facet of your subject.
A feature article highlights one facet of the subject.
Thank you for using different writers for your book. Their analysis reveals different principles you want me to know. Let me use that approach as I write feature articles. Show me a unique facet you want me to highlight.
In Jesus’s name, Amen.
