101 devotionals that encourage and equip writers to write well

Writers need encouragement. And we need tools to equip us. Both of those are found in scripture.

That’s the basic premise behind Writing By The Book

I discovered this principle when I started writing. Biblical truths provide the cornerstone for our lives. I turn to The Good Book for practical help and encouragement in marriage, parenting, relationships … money and investing … our health and well-being … work life and time management and serving. Why wouldn’t I seek out help from scripture for my writing life – particularly since the Bible is a library of written works?

Once I started looking, I discovered how the fundamentals of good writing are woven into God’s Word.

And I wanted to share that connection with other writers of faith.
